Shepton Mallet Carnival Committee 


The Shepton Mallet Carnival is organised by a dedicated committee of volunteers who work throughout the year to obtain the necessary licenses to operate the parade once a year. 


We are affiliated to the Somerset County Guy Fawkes Carnivals Association, where the processions are repeated in the following towns, Bridgwater, Burnham on Sea, Weston Super Mare, North Petherton, Wells and Glastonbury.

Each year the carnival becomes more and more expensive to put on; local sponsors and patrons help us raise the required funds for us to be able to put on this event.

 

Donations raised on the night are then distributed between local community groups and clubs; so please give generously. Your input is essential to the success of the carnival.
