Harlequin The Greatest Show

    Information for Cart Captains

The procession will start at the entrance to Mendip District Council Offices, and end in Whitstone Road.

All carts can then return back to where they lined up and performers can dismount, ready to move on to Wells.

After the Carnival you will be escorted by the police to Wells.

Please do not uncouple in Cannards Grave Road.

The only place to uncouple (if you must) is by the nearside of the road before the Ambulance Station, where it is flat and under street lighting.

You can then collect your spare tractor(s) and service vehicles from the show ground, and uncouple quickly.

The other carts can then pass on the right side and not stop the flow heading to Wells.

Please print, and read thoroughly.

Visiting Marshals

Visiting marshals must sign in at the Salvation Army Hall in Commercial Road from 14.30 pm and be at your position by 17.45 PM.

If you do not sign in you are not covered by our carnival Accident Insurance.
